In this novel, Perfection, my main character, Elena, is coming out of a situation where she was oppressed since her teenage years. She is now in her late twenties and is discovering her own strengths and beliefs about life. This novel is a historical romance with a theme of independence and self-reliance. Elena will be opposed by Ramon Emmanuel, a cult leader who used to control her and now fears and hates her. The conflict is about control of her children who still live in Ramon Emmanuel's commune. Elena's goal is to find justice and save her children.
1. The promise: Elena will find justice after being expelled from the commune. Somehow she'll be reunited with her children.
2. The outcome: Elena will slowly heal and become less dependent. She'll conquer fear, learn to trust herself, and will find strength to go back to the commune on her own to see her children.
